First of all, I want to thank Dogo for sending me this book in exchange for an honest review. "Danger is Everywhere," by David O'Doherty is an awesome book all about how to avoid danger. There is only one thing I did not like about this book. The one problem is the amount of acronyms. I know it's a joke and it is funny, but it can get a little hard to read at times. Well that's enough of the bad stuff. I love everything else in this book. It has pictures in between paragraphs kind of like "Diary of a Wimpy Kid," and has lots of cool information like how to make toast safely. It was so much fun I could not stop reading it aloud. Overall, it is a great book and I think that you should read it.

jamsc's book review was featured in The Crossover.
"The Crossover," by Kwame Alexander is an amazing book. My Mom went to new york, met Kwame Alexander and brought me back a signed copy. When I started reading it, I stopped because it starts out a little boring, and I thought I was not going to like it. Also, I don't like basketball, and at first the book only seems to be about basketball. As it turns out the more you read, the better it gets. It's all about Josh and his relationships with his family. I know that makes the book sound boring, but it's actually really good. The fact that the book was written in verse makes it very interesting to read. All Josh's troubles start when his twin brother Jordan starts dating the new girl, and and stops spending time with him. Then he gets angry and makes some bad choices. (I'm really trying not to give anything away here.) Then Josh finds out his dad's problems are worse than he thought. It is a really good book and one of my favorites. I would suggest this book to anyone who likes to read.

awesome fascinating incredible marvelous prodigious shocking stunning surprising unbelievable wonderful. The Right Word: Roget And His Thesaurus by Jen Bryant, is an fascinating and incredible book. It tells the story of a man named Roget and how he devoted his life to making lists of words. The illustrations in this book are prodigious. They include words and objects from Roget's lists. I like this book because it is nonfiction, yet still fun to read. It taught me a lot about how the thesaurus was written and about the person who wrote it. I think that younger children could learn more than most adults know about Roget and the thesaurus. As you can see I used an onomasticon* to write this review. *thesaurus

Johnny Tremain is an amazing book based in 1770`s, just before and during the revolutionary war. It tells the story of a young silversmiths apprentice, and his adventures in Boston. I liked this book because it make history interesting by telling a story about working through hard times, and letting go of your pride. I connected with Johnny because he is my age and he goes through many of the struggles that a modern day teen would have to go through. It was very engaging and had plenty of action. It was also interesting to me because I live very close to Boston and I've seen may of the places that are mentioned in this book. I would recommend this book to anyone that likes books. In conclusion, this book teaches many lessons and is fun to read.

I love these books! I have read every one, and all of his other books like Heroes of Olympus. They have a great story, and they really teach you about greek myths. I really liked these books because they were fast paced and action packed. It has awesome battles and stuff like that. It's too bad the movies were bad, and weren't like the books.
