This story is one that you dive right into, (or do you). Snicket writes about himself as young man searching for answers to questions that shouldn't be asked and questioning the obvious - or is it? Done in his own dark style, an entrancing read.

This tale was kinda odd. This boy, Riley, is apprenticed to this guy who wants him to kill a man but he's stopped by a man from the future who takes him to present day, but they're pursued by Riley's Master who's trying to find a key to take over the world.

After moving to Alcatraz for his father's job, Moose is forced to watch his autistic sister, who gets him in trouble throughout the book. This book is an interesting look at how an autistic family member affects everyone and the history of Alcatraz.
