If you are looking for a romantic tragedy this is your book! This book isn't you're typical teenage romance. Set in a not-so-good neighborhood, the characters are not cookie cutter perfect making them extremely lovable and relatable for readers. Definitely worth the heartbreak.

Sadly this book did not live up to my expectations. While it was an easy read, it had a weird and depressing plot which over all left me a little confused. I definitely feel the book is rather about obsession than love. Sorry, to bash a classic but if I'm being honest it's not worth the hype.

This was an awesome book. May favorite part was when they all came together for Christmas. The family came from all over the Big Woods of Wisconsin to share the time together.

I'm still reading this book with my mom, but it is adventurous! The most exciting part so far was when they were crossing the big river and they almost died. Pa had to swim out and save the horses.
