Look how important software is important these days to people. I wonder how other technological inventions would be. Virtually Unwrapping is pretty amazing - that is something you simply cannot ignore. I mean it's really handy if you want to read text from scrolls such as the Herculaneum scrolls. If we use this software to investigate other things, we can discover many new things of the ancient world.About 8 years agodulajperera added a new comment in
I do not think that this DST is such a good idea, since it will effect people's lives in a bad way. But on the other hand, it is a good thing when it comes to saving electricity, and other energy resources. But, there are many other people complaining about the changes in clocks. But, I find it useless to change the time, and there is not enough scientific testimony for this. It is good that other countries are not accepting the DST, since this would effect our lives very much.About 8 years agodulajperera added a new comment in
Animals look very gorgeous when dressed in different costumes. But it seems sort of silly. I wonder how it would be if there were cats(tigers, lions, cougars) in this parade.About 8 years agodulajperera added a new comment in
These presidential elections are going to be very important not just to American locals, but to many other countries around the world. There are supporters of both political nominees, "Hilary Clinton" and "Donald Trump". From a certain aspect, I think that both of these nominees are not worthy of becoming president. This is because both of them have negative sides which might affect the country very badly. Even though this is the case, Hilary seems a much more calm and composed woman compared with Donald. At times, politics can be fascinating due to tension. This year looks like it's going to be one of the most important in decades.About 8 years agodulajperera added a new comment in
Indeed, the title of the person who first discovered the ideas of friction goes to Leonardo Da Vinci. What makes him an intellect is his professionalism in arts and science. After all, science does have its similarities with religion, but I am talking about buddhism. All the scientific discoveries clearly match with buddhism. That is why it is said that Buddhism is a science. It could be categorized as ''religious science''. I wonder if scientists like Da Vinci ever knew about the similarities between religion and science. I believe that all science facts considered there is no supreme god. The whole plane of existence is something that keeps destroying itself and then being reborn.About 8 years agodulajperera added a new comment in
These carvings look surprisingly real. They are far better compared to those pumpkins in the movies and cartoons, which don't even look scary. Ray has showcased his intelligence in arts clearly and his ability to make his creations look real is fascinating. This article reminds of one of the latest videos of you tube channel 'KidBehindACamera', in which they show the halloween decorations to celebrate halloween.About 8 years agodulajperera added a new comment in
When science is combined with something different such as this, it is really interesting. I studied about this particular lesson atoms and molecules about a few weeks ago. ''Molecular Vehicles'' sound pretty awesome, yet the name is weird, since most people will be getting the idea that this is linked to science. I wonder if we could use these molecular vehicles for several other purposes. This particular machine reminds of ions such as anions and cations, which are positively and negatively charged ions.About 8 years agodulajperera added a new comment in
This article gives me the impression that animals mostly who grieve for their species deaths are elephants and whales. Elephants socially interact each other due to their high intellect compared with other animals. Well, not to mention that even other animals grieve for their family's demises. This is a good reason why we must not harm animals.About 8 years agodulajperera added a new comment in
I completely agree with the fact that the best and long-term solution for the rise in levels of Carbon-Dioxide is taking green initiatives. From a certain standpoint, I do not believe that this new initiative taken to reduce the gas levels will be successful, since carbon dioxide is kind of a harmful gas, according to science. Besides, we do not know what are the other harmful effects that the gas has on Earth's lower surface. I believe that the gas would be useful in making the interior of cars in the future, and it seems a much safer and cheaper process. The gas mixing with rocks in the Earth's lower surface can possibly lead to rigorous reactions that might even affect us. I think that this process should be assessed before it is going to be widely used.About 8 years agodulajperera added a new comment in
All living organisms need rest/sleep so that their bodies can function properly, but it is flabbergasting to hear that great frigate birds can travel for long distances without sleep. As mentioned in this article, these birds might be facing difficulties due to the harsh winds and other climatic conditions, which will make it difficult for them to find food and prevent them from flying. Of course, this is not to ignore the fact that the cause for these conditions are our careless actions. Not only is this affecting birds, but several other animals are suffering. But, remember that however much action is taken to save these animals from being endangered, they will diminish from our planet. That is an eternal truth, because one day, even the most intellectual beings inhabiting the Earth will disappear.About 8 years ago
