So, I have COVID. It's really not bad so far, but I was only tested yesterday. Today I have a little bit of a sore throat, some congestion, and a little bit of a cough, but that's it. Has anyone else gotten it? I can relate!

Today is day 5 of "Coronavirus Homeschooling" for me. If your school is out then you probably know what I'm talking about. Honestly I kinda just wish I could be in school right now! Also, today was supposed to be day 1 of my performance that (thank goodness) got canceled because of COVID-19 concerns, but still.

UPDATE: Now there is one case in my county, so glad school got canceled!

Kids are carriers for the disease, and also with school cancelling, even if the coronavirus isn't in your county, then it will hopefully slow the spread of the virus. This way, medical facilities like hospitals won't get overwhelmed with patients.

Calm down, the media is likely just overreacting. I don't want to come off as careless, but 80,000 vs 1 billion in China is less than 00.01% (1% would be 10 million). I can't fathom why everyone is acting as if people will turn into zombies.

Finally, people in my community are doing somewhat the right thing. I was in a show, but they FINALLY canceled it! I was going to be pulled out if they didn't cancel, so I'm glad they did. But, they still aren't canceling dance classes, which is ridiculous.

That's not totally true. People with weak immune systems can also die. While kids are less likely to have those problems, it's not impossible. Also, kids are carriers, so we are part of the problem of the spread of COVID-19.
