This book is amazing I am 13 years old and to me this book show the world from a different perspective
The fact that Mila was originally a "wild child" was really interesting. I really liked the part when she was eventually sent back to the sea. But, the whole dolphin idea got a little repetitive later in the story. Also, the text was big in some parts.
it is boring
It was so thrilling!
amazing book
"I was in the ocean, in the music of dolphins, all the sweet sounds around me, until I was caught on shore. I was so called, rescued by a nice lady who I call, Dr. Beck. She taught me so much. How to read, speak, and remember everything. I got the hang of it after a while, and I was really happy. There was another girl named Shay who was just not that smart. I tried to play with her. She just barely heard anything. She decided to take me to a pool one day. She has a kid named Justin, who hates me. I had such a fun time, and Dr. Beck was sooooo mad!!! When ever I hear the sound of dolphins, I get so excited. I got to play a recorder, and I did really well. I swam in the lake next to the house, and woke up in the hospital. I did not feel good. After a while, Dr. Beck decided to set me free. I said goodbye. They said goodbye. I saw the dolphins, and swam off."
It was a very clever book. I like it because a girl was in danger since she was living with dolphins in the water and she doesn't want to come out. Someone saves her and teaches her how to speak. She explores everything she can. At the end, she goes back with the dolphins.
I LOVED this book! The main character was raised by dolphins. She is discovered by a team of oceanographers who want to help her adapt to life among people. Do you think she will learn human behavior or return to the sea?
both happened. She went back to the sea. And she understood humans.
