Tears of A Tiger by Sharon M. Draper is a part of a series, and the genre of the book is realistic fiction. The book is about a boy named Andy who is a basketball player with his best friend Rob. After a basketball game Andy, Rob, Tyrone, and B.J all get into Andy’s car after drinking beer. Andy is driving on the highway and starts swerving and crashes killing Rob and leaving him injured. Andy is grieving Rob’s death and blames it on himself for Rob’s death. As Andy goes on in life the book focuses on him and how his family and friends help him.

looks like a really good book
this is a great book I recently read it I my 8th grade class you should definitely read it!
I read this book in 6th grade, and it was incredible. It's about these basketball players in high school who after winning a basketball game, go out drinking and driving. The main character collides with a wall and kills one of the passengers. The rest of the book is emotional and lets you really hear through his thoughts, the main character's guilt and other feelings.
this book is soooooo sad and heart breaking.
