Kids Books - Graphic Novels

In the first book of the smash hit Dance Class series by Beka and Crip, Julie, Lucy, and Alia are three girls who have one main thing in common: a love for dance! Packed to the brim with dance malfunctions, mean girls, classroom stunts, and witty sibling interactions, this book is not one to be missed.

In the first book in this series, Zack gets superpowers. His brother, named Luke, could of got them but........YOU HAVE TO READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT HEHEHEHE! :)

In the second book in this really funny series, Luke's gym teacher, Mrs. Dunham, is swapped by an evil robot alien. His friend Lara becomes a superhero and he must save the world.

This was my favorite of the series. The cutest story was Crazy Little Thing Called Lunch, by Cece Bell. It's about a girl named Ellie who sees her crush, Franklin as a giant baloney sandwich. The illustrations in that comic were adorable! This is a good travel comic!

Julie, Lucie, and Alia are back on the road showcasing the history of jazz dance! As they travel from state to state, their studio name "Dance Class" soon becomes coveted, and every one of their performances gets sold out. Despite their dedicated fans, though, everything that seems possible to go wrong does. That's showbiz, ladies!

In the 4th installment of the beloved Dance Class series, the Dance girls are competing for a spot in a Paris dance competition! The auditions will be hard, but winning the actual competition will be even harder. Julie, Lucie, and Alia manage to squeeze through the auditioning process! - but Carla and her cronies do, too. Now, in this cutthroat Parisian competition, the girls must practice, practice, practice (and perhaps shop at a few stores or two!) to get their way to that #1 spot!

Just before the big-budget debut film of the Hunger Games releases, Papercutz parodies the first book starring Ratkiss Everspleen and her younger sister Dim. In this rendition of Suzanne Collins' bestselling novel, the Hunger Games are optional, Peeta turns in Peek a Choo, and the world of Panem is flipped upside down. This hilarious parody will have you laughing to the very last page!

Amazing! SkyClan’s adventure continues in this epic book, as they meet new friends and enemies alike. A great story, that will surely amaze fans of the Warriors series, and new readers alike. When I read this, it was impossible to put down!

Julie, Lucy, and Alia are taking a new dance class this year along with the regular modern and ballet studies: African dance! Rhythmic music, energetic movements, and Fatou's exemplary teaching style quickly win the trio over. But when sticky situations in school and at home may threaten Julie, Lucy, and Alia's dance studies, they must do something to keep doing what they love! Funny and upbeat, this graphic novel is one for the bookshelves!

Julie is always the protagonist of the dance class shows, and Carla is always the villain - or are they? Fed up with their perpetual roles, Julie and Carla volunteer to switch characters in the recital, and Miss Anne reluctantly agrees. But while Julie nails the part of Evil Queen, Carla's role as Snow White in the ballet doesn't blow over well. Will Carla finally get her chance to shine with the lead role? Fun and daunting, Beka and Crip combine their storywriting and illustrating magic into one beautiful graphic novel.
