After a house fire killed his mother and destroyed all of their possessions, Nick, his younger brother Danny and their dad move from Tampa, Florida, to Colorado Springs, Colorado into their great aunt’s house. After choosing the attic as his bedroom and finding a bunch of odd gadgets and machines, Nick decides to hold a garage sale to help clear out the space. Although hit by a sudden rainstorm, his garage sale is strangely successful. People seem compelled to buy the objects and there is the strange arrival of four creepy men in a black SUV. It isn’t until later that Nick realizes that the gadgets he found might be more important and more interesting than he thought - and that a shady group of scientists called the Accelerati know something about them. Now it’s up to Nick to figure out who they are, what they want, and what power really lies in his, well, attic. This book is entertaining, suspenseful and a really fun read. I would recommend it to anybody who likes mystery/action/sci-fi novels.

To begin, this is one of the best books I have read in a long time. I even wrote to the authors telling them so. 'Tesla's Attic' begins with Nick in his new home. Their family of three - his dad, brother, and himself- are unpacking and checking out the strange mechanisms and nick nacks in the attic. Nick's dad decides they'll sell the items, and that is only the beginning of Nick's journey to finding out more about the items, the Accelerati society, and even people he interacts with on a daily basis. This book is very intriguing. At the end of each chapter, you're begging for more. I would recommend this to older readers. Younger students probably wouldn't be able to grasp some of the concepts in this book very well. To conclude, I would rate this book five stars, and recommend many to obtain a copy as soon as possible.

What's more, Nick figures out that the attic is a strange magnetic vortex. As he starts piecing things together, he learns that the genius Nikola Tesla placed the items-his last inventions-in the attic as part of a larger plan that he calculated. Now Nick and his friends must obtain these items from the buyers which proves to be harder.

THIS is one of the BEST books in the history of books. I'm just so mad that I read it- Because I found out there's no sequel to this and now I have to live my life in misery and confusion. It leaves you at a total CLIFFHANGER at the end!!! I'm so obsessed with this book, it's proabably more important than water!!! You MUST read this~~!!
