Started off well. But the end is dragging a bit and my daughter and I are dragging our feet to finish it. We enjoyed Redwall a little bit more.

In the exhilarating third addition and prequel of Brian Jacques' classic series Redwall, Martin the legendary warrior of Redwall comes to Mossflower- ruled by the tyrannic wildcat queen, Tsarmina Greeneyes. Martin, unknowing of Tsarmina's reign, is soon imprisoned by the sinister wildcat queen. Deep within the dungeons of Castle Kotir, Martin befriends Gonff, the self-proclaimed prince of mousetheives together the pair escape and with the help of the woodlanders, plan to save Mossflower from Tsarmina Green eyes, but to do this they must first seek the aid of the mighty Lord Brocktree from the far away Salamandastron! Full of action and adventure, Redwall is an all-around intriguing saga of heroism and audacity! I deeply enjoy the antics of Ferdy and Coggs, and those of all of Jacques' relatable and realistic characters, who are a credit to his books! I hope you, my readers, will adore Redwall as I do! Happy reading! armcginn
Mossflower is a great must read if you like action and suspense. Many twists and turns, sad parts, bravery and courage shown and many happy spots in between. I love this book with all my heart and would love to read more. Would rate a 10 out of 5.
This book is a very good and challenging book.I read it when I was in middle school and Mossflower was one of my favorite Redwall books and the first one the I read twice. It is about a heroic mouse named Martin who goes questing with his best friends Gonff and Dinny to find help for the woodlanders against the evil wildcat ruler of Mossflower and the castle of Kotir, Tsarmina Greeneyes. I really loved this book because of all of the mini wars all throughout the book and the way that the moles and hares speak.
this book is a book about animals that have adventures it is a VERY GOOD BOOK!
