its a great book but sad at the end my class watched the movie and read the book an did a compare and a contrast there were different but either way great story based on a true story

i think the book was good if you get sad easily i would not read it because searchlight dies in the end.

This is a sad book. It is about a smart and determined boy named Little Willy. His mother had died so his Grandfather takes care of him. One day Grandfather falls ill. The tax collector tells them to pay their taxes. Willy wants to win the local dog sled race, the race against time... Stone Fox the greatest racer of all time is entering. Will he win? I read this in third grade. I was crying over the last few pages I have read this book a lot of times This book will always stay with me.
