This book is about a boy, Nick Allen, who is a trouble maker. He saw a pen 1 day and decided to call it a Frindle. When everybody said it in front of the teacher she would get really mad and send them to DETENTION. This book was okay.
Frindle is about a boy who makes up a word and he becomes famous at his school..
This was the very first book I read by Andrew Clements and by far one of the best written by him. In frindle it tells a story about a boy named Nick who decides to come up with a new name for apen. A frindle. So anyway, this word gets around town and soon everybody is talking about it and with it. Does this new word get Nick in trouble? You will have to read Frindla by Andrew Clements to find out.

I read this in fourth grade. It seems like Nick is a trouble maker. Is Nick Allen a troublemaker? He really just likes to liven things up at school -- and he's always had plenty of great ideas.
