what I like about fake mustache is that it starts out plain..........THEN GETS AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!! Its about to midle school kids that live in the town of Hair Sprinkle. One kid's name is Lenny and the other is casper and there favorite store is Svens fair price store. The reason its there favorite store is because it has soooooooooooooooooooo many fake items that look soooooooooooooooooooo real. But the expensive mustaches are to realistic looking soooo realistic looking that can HYPNOTIZE people. LENNY and CASPER both know that but casper buys THE HEINDLEBERG HANDLEBAR 7# mustache. But after that the next day theirs a bandit in town small and with........................a mustache. DUN.DUN.DUUUN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Regular kid Lenny Flem Jr. is the only one standing between his evil-genius best friend—Casper, a master of disguise and hypnosis—and world domination. It all begins when Casper spends money from his granny on a spectacularly convincing fake mustache, the Heidelberg Handlebar #7. With it he’s able rob banks, amass a vast fortune, and run for president. Is Lenny the only one who can see through his disguise? And will he be able to stop Casper from taking over the world?
Praise for Fake Mustache
"Angleberger’s foot-on-the-floor zaniness helps pull it off, fueled by a steady stream of gags and utter ridiculousness that make Saturday-morning cartoons seem reasonable in comparison. Pure, unfiltered hilarity."
—Booklist
"The 2012 campaign season just got a little hairier. Kids will delight in the various ways in which Casper exploits his power over grownups."
—The Bulletin of the Center for Children's Books
"Appropriately goofy."
—The Horn Book
"Angleberger severs all ties with sanity in his latest farce for preteens with hilarious results. There's plenty of action and goofiness. Fans of Angleberger's previous efforts won't be disappointed. Total deadpan lunacy."
—Kirkus Reviews
"This is a cute, although improbable, story about two best friends, Lenny and Casper, who live in the small town of Hairsprinkle.. Jodie brings many positive traits of a strong, female hero."

A funny book, with a hypnotizing mustache, a former teen cowgirl sensation, a nerdy boy, and a mustache-less French criminal.
read it, it's the bestest book besides the candy makers
looks really funny
I hope you like this book.
sups funny!
When Casper gets 400 dollars from his aunt for his birthday, he goes with his friend Lenny to Sven’s Fair Price Store to buy the Heidelberg Handlebar Number Seven (a mustache that can lead to the fate of the country), and Chauncey’s to buy a-man-about-town suit for the upcoming presidential election. That same night, a bank was robbed by a short man wearing a man-about-town suit that has a mustache. Then, the night after that, the Federal Gold Reserve gets robbed by the same man! Who’s the hoodlum? Signs point to Casper as the culprit, but is he? What happens next? A crazy series of events and betrayal lead to crimes and bank robbings by a criminal mastermind. What will happen to the presidential election? I guess you’ll just have to read Fake Mustache… What I thought about it: Fake Mustache was a great book. I like mustaches, so this was the book for me. I saw the word mustache and Tom Angleberger, and said “Why don’t I check it out?” It was the first Tom Angleberger book I read, and I will definitely read more of his books. I have heard many great things about him so I checked it out. I love the little “unheard of” twist Angleberger put on this book. I mean, you usually don’t hear about kids spending $200 on a fake mustache for a plan to become president. Or boys dressing up as cowgirl-Tv stars. While you’re reading this book, You just hate Fako more everytime you hear his name. Also, quite a bit of suspense. And wanting a sequel. Overall, a book worthy of a golden mustache. So, if you want to find out if the presidential election gets sabotaged, read this book!
