It seems this book is actually fun, but I've never read it.

Highly recomend this book for 8th and 9th graders. I read it when I was in the 5th or 6th grade and didn't like it very much, but I read it again this year (9th grade) and LOVED it! It is a great book with a great message!
This is a book about a young man in Boston during the start of the civil war. He was a silver smiths apprentice and became friends with Rab a son of liberty. He and Rab play a part in the Boston tea party and Rab fights in the civil war. Johnny helps Paul Revere in spying on the red coats and doing whatever he can to help the sons of liberty. They fight for they're freedom and so that a man can stand up.
