I love this manga alot, its very interesting and action-packed, but also shows inside the lives of characters so its like a personal connection, you know? like if a character you liked died, it would've been pretty sad because the author is so good at making complex and loveable characters, but ALSO characters you cant stand, which i thinks impressive. The storyline is so good and has so many twist and turns. i'm in the 5th grade and id recommend for mature 10 and 11 year olds, and 12+ in general. I'm pretty sure this is a shonen manga so its directed to younger boys, so younger audiences like 10+ will maybe enjoy depending on your interest. Both girls and boys enjoy this series alot. Just a heads up, alot of blood and cussing. If your parents are strict when you go to the bookstore ask them first, if not read it online if you think your parents are strict, its not as embarrassing for most people. my dad likes attack on titan tho so he doesn't mind, and my mom knows im into anime and manga so its fine for me but i know others cant relate. Overall 5 stars, love this manga! watch the anime if you can!
Amazing manga, recommended for kids 12+. It has lots of blood though, and is very scary for young people. But it has a good storyline and I suggest if your okay get it. I would ask for you to have permission from parents though.

The anime itself is amazing. The book on the other hand, IS AWESOME! I cant wait to read more and watch the second season. Attack on Titan is a must read and should be a Best seller. Case closed. NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS MOVIE/SHOW! :D -Caitlynn
